Grout Considerations For Tile Installations
There are different types of grout that you can buy, but here are some things to consider when it comes to grout:
- The color: Do you want the grout to blend into the background or stand out? Match the color of the tile for a seamless look.
- How much traffic the area will have: If you’re putting down floor tiles, it makes sense to use a darker grout. On the walls, you can use a lighter color because they are easier to keep clean.
- How much to use: If you have big chunky tiles, a wider grout border goes nicely. If you want a more natural appearance, you want to use less grout in between.
